Different ways to listen to the sea
Waves, coastal ambience and underwater textures have different rhythms. Choose a wave track if you enjoy the rise and fall of the shore, or preview deeper ocean textures if you want a less familiar background. A strong sea breeze can be more prominent in a mix; add it quietly so it does not cover the waves.
Build a sea-side break
Combine one ocean track with calming music for a short pause. For a simpler background, leave out the music and use only waves. Brown noise is another optional base layer, but the ocean track may already provide all the texture you need. Use the main slider when you want the entire scene quieter without changing its balance.
Common questions
Can I combine ocean and rain?
Yes. Add both from the library and adjust their individual levels in the mixer.
Will playback continue with the screen locked?
It depends on your browser and device. SleepMix is a web app and does not guarantee background or lock-screen playback.
